After a period of so-so outcomes, Kim has finally earned herself a Title shot. Precious Prudie wasn’t expecting to battle the Amazin’ Asian so soon after Kim had won her second consecutive qualifying match less than a month ago, but the itty-bitty brunette persuaded the Powers That Be to place her on top of the list. And on top is exactly where she plans to be found when the closing bell sounds.
That was a great match and I really appreciate you putting in the pin element. I do love the pins. Poor Kim just happened to be the first showed getting pressed to the mat for three. Now just how will the ladies recover from being pinned in their next match up? Time will tell.
It happens very rarely, when the planets align and the mood turns to a shade of plaid. I think I can recollect six maybe seven matches out of 691.

How did Kim jump THIS queue?
It’s gratifying to note that at least one reader keeps close tabs on the Win-Lose records of the BWL fighters. This is a tedious task & it’s often hard to keep it current. To bring your records up-to-date, Jenn now has 0 consecutive wins (she lost #685 to Cindy in January), & Mel has 6; it would be 7 if we could include her unofficial win over Rita (#642 a little over a year ago), but Rita wasn’t on the official roster then.
In the Basement World, once a fighter attains 2 consecutive wins, s/he becomes qualified for a TDC, but not in any specific order. It’s not First Come, First Served. All qualifiers are thrown into a pool and any one of them can be chosen for the next TDC. It’s all up to Tania (not Yenta) the Matchmaker, & she’s known to be persuadable, especially if a bottle of good wine is introduced into the negotiations. In Kim’s case, her formidable powers of persuasion vaulted her to the top of the Challengers list. And not everyone who’s qualified is eager or available for an immediate TDC.
In the Real World, we schedule matches about 3 months in advance, subject to last-minute revisions. This gives us the chance to do something now or in the very near future that sets up something else in the distant future. This occasionally requires a lot of jockeying on our part, to stay in compliance with League rules, & often those plans get pushed into the even more distant future.

Yeah yeah I get it. I only look at this mathematically, not in terms of the story. Sorry to be so judgmental.
It was a great point that needed explaining. I’m for one glad you brought it up.
Although well put, your explanation seems to state the rules are there to give an illusion of an organized wrestling league for the story. We as the readers shouldn’t take these rules seriously into account, because everything is up to the whims of the creator.
I think this affirmation is too broad. Most of the rules are applied, and even the two-victories rule is 100% respected (the order of the challengers is just one part of it).
But to be honest, our first job here is to tell good stories, so if a rule got in the way of that, yes, I’d apologetically break it! That being said, having to work within the rules often force us to be more creative.
And to be fair, Sherlock is the one who’s a real stickler for rules and organization. Usually, when something goes off the rails, it,s to accommodate my more bordelic personality!
Hahaha! I’m just pointing out that readers shouldn’t take the rules as etched in stone, but more as fluid guidelines for the story. In my own A-hole way.
Well that was a frustrating ending I mean come on you just started building Kim back up and then do that to her that was a cheap finish and how is a pin legal under the ropes I don’t get that at all
