BWL-588: Twiggy vs Piggy

BWL-588_CoverAnna Towers has been wanting to expand her horizon as a competitor for a while now, away from her twin sister. She’s been itching for a shot at a “real fight” and we found the right opponent for her: another girl whose fighting experience is nonexistent: Melanie Seitz.

  1. Melanie has never looked better! I really love her model…she looks great here; voluptuous and stocky, but strong. I really like the characterization of her as slow, lumbering, and inexperienced, but with that Farmer’s Daughter strength. The way she used her weight (the thing that causes her the most anxiety) as a strength in the end was also a great character beat!

I feel like this was an emotionally satisfying story, giving us Melanie’s internal dialogue, showing us her body-dismorphia issues, and having her confront them and eventually triumph. This is the kind of stuff I love in the BWL…the nuanced characters, the novelty in the storytelling, set against the exciting, erotic, action!

This was a great one! I don’t know if we’ll see more Melanie in the BWL proper, but I would not be against it. She’s a compelling character both narratively and visually, as she is unique in the BWL for being both inexperienced and plus sized.

    Great work!

  2. So I caught some flak when I made a long comment on the BWL where Mack debuted her new giant boobs about how I felt BWL and BXF sites had gone somewhat stale, content to just rehash the same old stuff over and over again, with characters like Kandice and The Tower Twins and Kim kinda doing the same old song and dance over and over. I felt it needed some kind of shake up, some kind of change. Its not even that the stories were bad, just that so much was focused on the same old stuff that there was so much untapped potential being ignored.

Well, this is the kind of thing I was talking about. While the last few rematches were ones between opponents that hadn’t fought in years, which was nice, the last fight, France vs Chip, was a first time ever battle that we’ve never seen before. This fight is another first time, and between two first time BWL Fighters. That’s awesome. Both fights were unique, different, and far more exciting to read than the usual “Twins fight only each other/Kandi gets beaten by Hani for the 10th time/Kim loses because of sex and contemplates retirement” stories.

This was a great story, more than worth the read, and I hope to see more of both these fighters explore their untapped potential in the BWL.

  3. This was a pleasant surprise, well done.

Also, Anna, going from “Haha you’re fat!” to “Get off me, you’re too heavy” must have been pretty embarrassing for you.
