BWL-502: Tie-Breaker

BWL-502_CoverThe Queen (or King) of the Hill Tourney ended with Tania and Caribe tied at 3 wins apiece to see which one will go on to challenge Interim BWL Champ Mackenzie for her Title and Belt. Tania managed to squeeze this important and much-anticipated battle into the schedule earlier than expected, and for her efforts she rewarded herself with the choice of venue: the Pit. A shrewd selection since we all know about Caribe’s Pit Jinx; the Bahamian Bombshell has never won a Pit battle.

  1. Mackenzie v. Tania? or Daniel Bryan v. HHH or Austin v. McMahon or…

So does this mean Tania is now un-retired?

    1. If I remember right Louise had a fight against an indian girl in one of the early fights on the site like bout 17 or 18 the problem with introducing new characters is that the roster is already pretty packed and there are already characters trying to get on the roster like Prudie and Chip and other characters have had an intrest like Hani and Ashley

    2. Do you mean an India Indian or a Native American “Indian”?

Hornet has a good memory. Louise did indeed fight a Native American girl named Awana on BWL-18 way back in 2002. Awana was just a 1-time guest & was never intended to become a regular or recurring character.

  2. I know its a pain in the ass, but worth the trouble. It took me awhile to get used to IBL with AO, but I love the soft natural looking lighting it creates. I turn AO value down to .3, at its default setting it will cast some gross looking shadows.

  3. Sorry to see Caribe go down, but what a terrific struggle – brains/skill vs brawn is a great theme and these are perhaps the archetype representatives. I particularly enjoyed the addition of Mack’s perspective which almost offered two fights in one. It was also great to have Caribe a threat right to the end, at least in her own mind, but also in reference to her ability to one shot the smaller girl. While Carrie hasn’t been winning very often, her matches have been right at the top in terms of character and mood, hope she intensifies as the leagues bully/brute anyways great work!

  4. I think it looks great! Image based lighting with Ambient occlusion works wonders when correctly calibrated. Tania vs Mack should be a great match up, with all the bad blood between them!

    1. Glad you like it, but it’s the bitchiest lighting to work with, because the preview looks nothing like the end result. With spots, you have a general idea, but AO lighting can look like it’s dark, and then you render and it’s too bright. For one lighting you have to do at least 8-10 renders before getting something decent.

  5. Honestly I would have liked either one of these ladies to win but we have a winner now and I cant wait to see who will end up as the Interim Champion.

    1. I upgraded my Poser and I experimented with new lighting techniques and added texture characteristics. I hope your question means you like it…

      1. So far yes, I would like how it looks on the BSF site though; although the idea of each site having their own style has a certain appeal too.
