Myriam shouts over the phone, “I don’t give a damn who I fight, just get me an opponent.” Due to a clerical error, Mimi is signed up for a Pit fight next week against…nobody. With so many BWL members away on vacations, and so few willing to enter the Pit against Marvelous Mimi, Tania has to do some quick thinking.

As luck would have it, both Cindy and Olivier are eager to go up against Mimi, but which one to choose? Tania decides to leave it to Fate. Let them slug it out boxing in Cindy’s favorite garage ring, the winner to take on Mimi on BWL-335 next week.

All summer long Megan’s husband Korey has been hounding her about joining the BWL. We all know she has the Right Stuff, a fact she’s proved on several occasions. But despite Korey’s enthusiasm, Megan still has doubts. This fine morning she heads out for a run along the beach to sort out her thoughts and feelings about the League. Along the way she encounters something that will probably play an important role in making up her mind.

I’ve heard some people trying to explain this phenomenon, but they always sounded apologetic or plain dumb. So I want to run my explanation by you.

Humans are animals. On the scale of our evolution, we have been living in a “modern” world for a very short time, so a lot of our behaviours have “animal” origins. Especially things relating to sex.

Sex is something we animals do in order to insure our genes will survive us—and if possible a better version of those genes. We have specific strategies to insure that. In courtship, females look for the best specimen so their offspring will be strong and healthy—and have more chances to survive. Since their eggs are few—and since the “investment” of having a child is very costly to them, both in gestation time and in nurturing time—they try to get THE ONE. They also need a male who’ll stick around and help care for and protect the child. That is why women look for one guy and stick with him.

Males, we are quite different. We don’t have just a few eggs, we have billions, and we can recharge in a relatively short time. And after the fact, we can always run away and never be bothered with child care (I’m not saying that’s what we should do; I’m saying that is always an option). So our strategy to insure the survival of our genes is to disseminate, the logic being that if we inseminate many females, at least one of them is bound to give a new life to our genome.

This goes so far that certain species of primates will have “hardening” sperm that will block a rival’s sperm’s access to the egg. And men will produce more sperm if they suspect their mate has been “fooling around”.

Now that’s the way we would act if left to our primeval, animalistic selves.  But we are civilized now. And in our world, the way to go is to meet a girl, fall madly in love and stick with her (at least that’s the way the theory goes). Now, we males end up with one female while our instinct urges us to disseminate.

So instead of “fooling around”, a lot of us males have “pretend” partners. Hence the thousand of girls we watch on the Net. By touching ourselves while watching Jenna Jameson, we are satisfying a biological imperative to disseminate.

That doesn’t mean we’re not madly in love—quite the opposite! It means we found a way to stay with the same person and be fateful to her while still giving in to our biological imperatives—in a symbolic, cathartic kind of way.

No harm done. No affair. No broken heart. No lies. Just a few soiled Kleenexes.

The BWL is reluctant to schedule matches between lovers. There have been exceptions, such as Cindy and David—but look how that turned out. This time Regine insisted—she damn near threatened Tania—and so today she’s facing her lover Paul for the first time in nearly six years. The Terror from St-Tremblé feels she has a good reason, which—Oh, hell, we’ll let her explain it in her own words.

Kim is one defeat away from losing the Championship Belt. Since she gets to call the shots for this TDC2, she’s not taking any chances. Louise gave her a hard time on their TDC1 so Kim plans to fall back on her old tried-and-true tactics, the same ones that have served her so well in the past.

Louise is being careful not to get overconfident. She knows that Kim has a history of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat and has no intention of becoming the Amazin’ Asian’s next victim.

The Marvelous One has taken it on herself to do a bit of housecleaning in the BWL. She wants to rid the League of its more egregious underachievers. “Somebody has to get these Bozos to get cracking or get packing,” she claims. “The fact that most of the poor performers are men is significant, but I’m certainly not starting an anti-guy campaign.”

Her first target is Matt, who has been begging Tania to set him up against Mimi for quite some time. Right now he has the second-worst overall record in the BWL (only marginally better than Olivier’s). Is he aware of Mimi’s mission? Or is it just that he can’t pass up any chance to wrestle her?

A nearby college fraternity, Iota Eta Pi, arranged with the BWL to stage a special contest in the college auditorium as a fund-raiser for their designated charity. The frat rats decided to treat themselves and their guests to a breast battle between two of their all-time favorite femme fighters: France and Caribe. The girls will compete—Oh, you’ll see soon enough. Suffice it to say that this competition is a frat boy’s dream come true.

Always looking for new conquests, Regine jumps at Don’s invitation to join him in the Pit for a spot of no-holds-barred, knockout-only action. Maybe she’s in the dumps after losing that last BXS sex contest to Louise [BXS-143], but if she can’t beat Louise, what chance does she have against Don? On the other hand, a dildo competition against Louise isn’t like a Pit fight against Don, is it? Different skill sets are at play.
